Best care possible: Icon’s impact to address the global cancer burden

As part of Icon Group’s 10 Days of Impact ahead of World Cancer Day (4 February), we’re highlighting the key achievements that defined our efforts to address the global cancer burden, captured in our Annual Impact Report.

Through network growth, new treatment capabilities and expanded research activity, Icon continued to increase access to high‑quality cancer care and deliver meaningful outcomes for patients, families and communities worldwide.

Together, we:

  • Supported more than four million patient interactions across Australia, New Zealand, Mainland China, ASEAN, and the United Kingdom
  • Announced 12 new centres across our cancer care, pharmacy and compounding services
  • Acquired UK-based Pharmaxo to extend compounding and home care services

  • Introduced Icon’s integrated model of care in Indonesia
  • Deepened our services in Malaysia and
  • Provided patient care that earned a Net Promoter Score of 95 in Australia—a remarkable endorsement of the dedication and trust that defines our teams.

At a time when cancer remains one of the world’s most significant health challenges, our Impact Report outlines the practical steps we are taking to ease the global cancer burden by strengthening services, expanding reach and enhancing the care our patients receive.

These highlights show how we continue to deliver on our purpose: to bring the best care possible to more people, closer to home.

This World Cancer Day, we reflect on our achievements but remain focused on the challenges that remain. The global cancer burden requires continued global collaboration, investment in research, and practical improvements in access to care.

On 4 February, we’re proud to stand with patients and families worldwide and continue to play our part in building a future where more people can receive high‑quality care, closer to home.
