As Group Director of Radiation Therapy, Steph will help lead Icon’s global radiation therapy function and work closely with the group’s Clinical Care team, the Radiotherapy Practice Unit and cancer centres division to ensure we continue to provide the best possible care.
We’re proud to announce Stephanie Price as Icon’s Group Director of Radiation Therapy.
This appointment was previously held by Claire Smith who is now our National Operations Manager for cancer centres in the United Kingdom. Steph is currently the Site Manager at Icon Cancer Centre Maroochydore in Queensland and has been with Icon for over 13 years starting as a radiation therapist at Oceania Oncology, one of Icon Group’s founding radiation oncology businesses.
Stephanie brings a wealth of clinical and operational experience and knowledge with a strong focus on quality improvement, clinical excellence, and leading teams through change.
During her time with Icon, Stephanie has held several roles and been a critical part of many radiation therapy initiatives, including RT Plan Pooling and spearheading a number of technical rollouts, as well as delivering training and education to our international teams in Singapore.
Global Director – Icon Cancer Centre, Ross Koscharsky says Stephanie’s proven track record will continue to strengthen Icon’s leading radiation oncology services.

Stephanie is looking forward to this new leadership role.

Since she was 14, Den dreamt of moving to Australia. After experiencing distressing times and not being able to pursue her women’s rights advocacy she took the leap, moving first to Turkey and then Australia. “When I could no longer do more for the women of my country, my life there started to feel meaningless,” said Den. “I came to Australia to experience freedom, to have freedom of choice, pursue a meaningful career, and be part of a diverse community.” Now Icon’s WHS Advisor for Australia and New Zealand’s cancer centres, Den brings a critical mind to her role with a strong focus on enhancing our health and safety management system. “I think my different experiences and background brings new perspectives to my role,” said Den. “The WHS Team is committed to improving our current safety systems and being more proactive in our risk management and reporting to provide a healthier and safer environment for our teams.”
